2 Years, A Novel & Thank You!

TWO YEARS !

I remember sitting in my room typing away my borderline judgemental thoughts about the world of clubbing in a blog I created ten minutes ago and telling myself it’s okay if no one ever followed me. It’s been two years since that day!

If someone had told me then that I’d someday have so many of you reading the things I write, I’d have laughed. But it’s happened!

And I often find myself wondering. I understand why someone follows a fashion blogger or a movie reviewing blog. I never understood why you chose to follow and read a blog that has nothing but my thoughts and opinions on it. But you do. And you comment the most incredible things when you do. And on my worst day, when I feel the desperate need to give up, your comments remind me why I began writing. And why I shouldn’t stop.

For being my sole motivator, for helping me believe in myself day after day and sending me so much love,

Thank You!

The endless encouragement you’ve given me has been one of the biggest reasons I’ve taken up NaNoWriMo this November. For those of you who aren’t aware of it – National Novel Writing Month – do visit – http://nanowrimo.org

At the end of this month, I will have a novel done! Though I don’t want to publish this one, I intend to put it up on Kindle and Goodreads! I will definitely have a link up and all that. If you have other platforms you would suggest or you would like to read it on, please do let me know.

I still cannot believe I’m writing my 2nd anniversary post. Words can’t explain how amazed and grateful I am. This has been the most incredible journey and I can’t wait for more!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !

Blurb of the book:

If love could be a person it would be him. The way he smiled. The way his eyes were always dancing with joy. He wasn’t a teenager lost with the world. He was a man who knew what he wanted in life.

He wantedΒ me.

This isn’t just a love story. This isn’t a romantic comedy. This isn’t about the world’s greatest coupleΒ ever. This is just what it is. No genre. No category.

It’s exactly how my love for him was. It’s boundless.

What a coincidence, I’ve just hit the two year platform as well. Congratulations!!! I’m only new here of course but like I said previously, the fashion blogs and crafting and all of those are great if you are in to those. I think most people who write or read blogs want to read engaging posts. Well written posts whether it is lol funny or gut wrenching. Well written posts like yours. Congratulations on the novel, and congratulations on two years of blogging. My new motto (borrowed from a new song) is Never Stop Moving. I’m not, don’t you either!

Yaay!! Congratulations on your Two Years ! I still can’t believe it’s been 2 years. I have to admit this past year went by quite fast. I still remember writing my first anniversary post like it was last week! I’m glad there are people who want to read such things. I’m glad you’re one of those people. Your comments literally make my week! Thank you so much πŸ™‚

Aww, I’m glad my comments help. Yes, I know last year at this time I was so thrilled to be writing my first year anniversary post, and trying to work out how to combine photos of a bridge with the sounds of an Indian percussion and horns band lol! I briefly considered stopping my blog in August but decided to change things up and am more inspired than EVER! Part of that was reading more blogs like yours that fuel me. It is very important to have blogs like this in my life. And I’m very happy that like you I can say I have been blogging for 2 years πŸ™‚

Oh I know that feeling. I write for a living and my job demands creative copy on demand. Writing a blog became an impossibility because I was out of ideas and thoughts. In simple words, my brain refused to think at any given point. But then I buckled up and here I am! πŸ˜€

I love it! I just started mine and am going nuts about putting my site together. I love how yours is clean and easy to navigate.

It took me several version to get here. But I can’t say I’m unhappy about this. And if I dare say so myself, please go nuts. Try out a different theme every month until you feel comfortable with one but please remember, you’ll still want to change that a year later. πŸ™‚

      Thank you so much πŸ™‚
